It's a Slam-Dunk

Colin Falls and Russell Carter are to compete in the "Annual State-Farm College Slam-Dunk and 3 point Shootout".

Carter will represent the Irish in the Vegas.com Men's Slam Dunk Championship. The other competitors in the competition will be Louis Darby (Long Beach State), Adrian Hill (Rutgers), Royce Parran (Chicago State), Brent Petway (Michigan), Marlon Pompey (Texas A&M) David Patten (Weber State) and Mario West (Georgia Tech).

Falls is one of eight participants in the Midas Touch Men's Three-Point Shooting Championship. The other seven players in the contest include Aaron Brooks (Oregon), Adam Haluska (Iowa), Jarrius Jackson (Texas Tech), Acie Law (Texas A&M), Demetris Nichols (Syracuse), Stephen Sir (Northern Arizona) and Kammron Taylor (Wisconsin).
