Holy Zookers Batman

We have all been following the exploits and ramblings coming out of Champaign. Here is a nice look back and forward from Blue Gray Sky.

Sunday School

Aaron Nagel is a kid that can come in and play early. Heart, dedication and talent all add up to the prototypical ND player. Let's hope he can develop as expected. (You will need to register with Scout.com to read the rest of the story)

Nagel's Sunday Education -- (IE)

Sundays have been a study day for Aaron Nagel, and he’s not working on his senior paper. Super Bowl Sunday will be his final lesson until reporting to Notre Dame. The Lemont, Ill., product has been watching NFL linebackers, particularly Brian Urlacher, trying to soak up anything he can about his new position, so he can come in and contribute for the Irish, as a true freshman this fall.

Tom Lemming Discusses ND recruiting

CSTV recruiting analyst and Irish Sports Report columnist Tom Lemming answered reader questions about Notre Dame's 2007 football recruits.

More than 150 questions were submitted to Lemming in less than one hour. Becuase of the heavy number of questions we were not able to answer every question during the allotted time.

What about this guy?

We all know he is on the radar screen at ND, but is it possible that he may switch committments come Tuesday?

Charlies Plane was seen travelling to Chicago the other day and unless he wanted a big Gyro (very possible), he may have been visiting

MARTEZ WILSON.

Corwin Brown, New DC at ND is a native of Chicagoland and his ties run deep. This is a piece of magic that needs looking after.

Fueled and Ready to go

The Notre Dame plane has been in Chicago yesterday and is on its way to Washington Dulles International Airport. As you see the plane travel from town to town, one can only wonder what Charlie is up to.

Chicago has plenty of opportunities left, but also reassuring recruits is important at this time. Commits Robert Hughes and Aaron Nagel are both in the Chicago area. So is Illinois commit Martez Wilson. If other coaches can poach players, why can't Charlie?

As far as travelling to Washington, who knows? Maybe he is visiting the President.
