The Quinn-Go-Round

Could stop in the Windy City...

NFL Central reports last week that Lance Briggs was being shopped and shopped aggressively and it looks like the Bears have found a suitor. If, as reported, the Bears get the Redskins' sixth pick in exchange for Briggs and their 31st pick, then the Bears have put themselves squarely in the mix for either Calvin Johnson or Brady Quinn. The Bears also have the 37th and 63rd picks in the second round. This gives them enough firepower to move into the top 3 picks if they find a willing trade partner in the top 3. This seems like a great move for the Bears, but some in Washington Don't like this at all.

Going to the Bears would be a good, if not perfect situation for Brady Quinn. Rex Grossman can play for a year as Brady learns the system, And if he needs to step into the starting role, at least he is behind a pretty good O Line. The way the Bears have drafted in the past, it is time for a QB to come into the mix.

With Quinn you really know what you are getting. A smart, hard working football player that will lay it on the line when it counts. He has many supporters, but none as enthusiastic as This Guy.

A lot of speculation about Quinn going to the Lions or the Browns, but even his Agent can't get a good feel for his client. But can you really believe anything anyone is saying at this point.

a pretty good o-line? your kiddin' me right? a pretty good o-line wouldn't have let grossman get killed like they did.....

grossman got pummelled because he isn't very good, not because the line sucked. you don't get to the superbowl with a bad line, but you can get there with a mediocre QB. you just can't win
