Brady Quinn

With all the hoopla of the Sugar Bowl victory and the legend status of Russell, where were all the Jamarcus fans before? Yes, he did beat a ND team that has been playing poorly all year on Defense. Yes, he has a strong arm and can throw the ball with full-grown men hanging from his waist. But he also does not make very good decisions when you leave him in the backfield alone.

Even in the Sugar Bowl, stay with me, he made some very poor decisions when the backfield was empty. The Irish failed to take advantage and receivers were running free.

If NFL scouts would rather have him play on their teams than they would Brady Quinn, so be it. But get ready for the backlash when he fails. Quinn is a hard worker and quick learner. He did have some poor games, but the OL was a big part of it. Remember this about Brady Quinn. He only had Charlie Weis for 2 seasons. He made absolutely no improvement in his frosh and soph years.

I will take a kid that gets up from getting slaughtered against a Michigan team and bounce back week after week. I will take Quinn who takes the grass out of his helmet and completes a long pass immediately after. When all is said and done, Quinn will be the top NFL QB in this years class.
