The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Rudolph also is the area's top-rated junior football player. A tight end, he already has committed to Notre Dame for football. Rudolph also has been scouted heavily by Division I basketball schools.

Rudolph has been scouted for basketball by schools such as Butler, Dayton and Miami University. He will play only football in college

Here are some short videos of Kyle Rudolph, the latest Notre Dame recruit for 2008. He is a monster with great hands and very good feet. We have heard about this kid for a few years here in Cincinnati. I was never a fan of Elder, but now that he is Irish, gotta like the kid. Notre Dame has been slow in recruiting the SW Ohio region. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. There are a lot of great players down here and pulling them away from OSU makes me very happy.
