Linebacker Dave Posluszny of Hopewell High School (Aliquippa, Pa.) knew going into his visit to Notre Dame on Wednesday that there was a chance he would end his recruitment, and that’s just what happened.
He is the sixth commit for the 2008 season. He is the second defense commit.
He is a very good athlete who competes in track and plays on the offensive side of ball as a running back. His brother Paul, is rated as one of the top linebackers in this years draft. Paul has said that David is a better athlete and will be a stud wherever he goes.
David is very excited and has been since ND offered him his scholorship. Getting away from his brothers shadow is important, and he made a decision that will definitely help the ND team. In My opinion David will be a Safety, but could definitely come forward and take a LB'er role.
Congratulations Poz and you made a very good choice.
