Playoff? Playoff. Playoff!

Would Boise State have won a first round playoff game? We don't know and probably won't find out in the near future.

Using a BCS formula we could have an 8 team playoff format with the number 1 playing number 8 and so on. First games beginning on or around Christmas and the final game played on January 8th.

Some very good games would have come about this season. I know that ND would not be part of it this season, but the Irish need to win a game when it counts.
