Harrison Smith--Commit Profile

Short clip of Harrison Smith from Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish. He committed to ND around Christmas time and will be a very good asset on the defensive side of the ball.

Very good size and speed: Ht: 6-2 Wt: 205 40: 4.45

Could end up at the LB position in the 3-4 D.

Smart kid and well spoken: 3.7 core GPA, 28 ACT and an 1850 SAT

Smith earned first team All-State, All-Region, and All-league honors as a junior.

Scout.com and Rivals.com have him as a 4 star, but IMO, would be a 5 star if he played at a bigger school.

Will deliver the big hit in the open field and can cover with very good back pedal ability.

He is in the second segment of the clip

He looks like he'll be very good at ND. However, I think he'll be playing at safety, nto LB. Just my opinion.

you're right about him starting at safety, but he looks like he could hold 20-25 lbs more. if needed, he could move.

In order to find his equal, an Irishman is *forced* to talk to God.
