JEFFERSONVILLE – The recruiting saga of Chris Little continues.

The All-American offensive lineman picked Florida State over a slew of other schools, including Notre Dame, Clemson and Georgia, on Saturday. But now, Little is not headed south to the Seminoles.
“He has made a change,” said Twiggs County head coach Dexter Copeland Thursday morning. “He is not going to Florida State."

Little picked the Noles on NBC last weekend at the US Army All-American Bowl, but he was not comfortable with the decision soon thereafter. It was a difficult week for Little, who is more than 30 pounds overweight right now, according to his coach, because of a groin injury suffered near the end of the season.

“If that were any other game beside the All-American Bowl he would not have played,” Copeland said of the injury. “Little will be cleared by the doctors soon, and he will drop some of that weight.”

As for Little’s recruiting, Copeland said a commitment to another school could be made as soon as today.

“It’s been interesting for sure,” Copeland said. “I think sometime today or tomorrow Chris will let everyone know where he is headed to school.”
